Hacienda Alcaidesa Links Golf Resort is a magnificent complex consisting of two 18-hole golf courses, Links Golf Course and Heathland Golf Course, located near the town of Sotogrande, approximately 60 km from Marbella and 120 km from Málaga Airport.
The course includes a refurbished clubhouse with full facilities including a restaurant with panoramic views, which adds a unique experience to the whole complex.
There is a magnificent 300 metre long driving range with 72 tees offering spectacular sea views, half of which are covered. There is also a practice area with bunkers and an 18-hole driving range.
The Links Golf Course has one of the best views of the Mediterranean town of San Roque, Gibraltar and Africa and is also the only Links-style course in southern Spain. The quality of the course ranks it among the elite golf resorts in Europe.
It is a challenging course that consists of wide fairways, double greens, large strategically placed bunkers and gentle slopes that descend towards the sea and end with a magnificent beach that borders a large part of the holes.
Heathland Golf Course offers a varied natural landscape where it resembles a heathland course, with wide fairways and exceptional views of the Mediterranean Sea and Gibraltar. The course is hilly and contains various water hazards.

Our review
From our perspective, we rate this course as one of the most beautiful courses on the Costa del Sol. The course is of very high quality, well maintained with excellent golf service. All this is accentuated by the unique views of the Mediterranean, Africa and Gibraltar. Many of the holes line the sea coast. If you have enough time, we recommend sitting on hole number 5. and take in the spectacular views. The course is suitable for experienced players and beginners alike.
