Basic Information
La Cañada Golf Club is located in the resort of Sotogrande, roughly 60 km from Marbella. A large number of excellent golf courses are concentrated in this area, which is considered a true paradise for lovers of tranquillity, quality of life and sports tourism. Worthy of mention is Valderrama, home of the 1997 Ryder Cup.
La Cañada is an 18-hole course characterised by its not-too-long fairways, fast greens, large trees and spectacular views of the Mediterranean.
A great advantage is that it remains open even in bad weather, as it has a spectacular drainage system. However, the Costa del Sol area offers more than 320 days of sunshine a year and an average temperature of around 25°C, making it the ideal place for sun, golf and nature lovers.
The club includes a golf school, which is one of the best of its kind in Spain.

Our review
The playground is a very pleasant surprise, especially in the price-quality ratio. The fairways are really short, lined with lots of dense trees, but fun for it. The placement of the greens forces you to be more focused on your game and the accuracy of your swing. The clubhouse restaurant is very nice and reasonably priced.
