Basic Information
Since reopening in 2005, El Chaparral Golf Club has become one of the most attractive golf clubs on the Costa del Sol. The course is well known for the quality of its greens and the wide variety of holes, plus its unique panorama can be observed from every hole, which adds to the extraordinary playing experience. The spectacular sea views, the rich vegetation and the scent of pine trees have turned El Chaparral into a natural and golfing paradise where any event can be organised at the highest level, whether amateur or professional. The course consists of 18 holes, located in one of the most privileged environments on the Costa del Sol. Hotel El Chaparral is located close to the sea, just 700 metres from the beach and surrounded by a pine forest.

Our Review
El Chaparral is a technically very challenging but really nice course. The greens are very fast and some of the fairways are quite a bit narrow, which combined with the trees lining the course doesn't make for an easy game. Nevertheless, the course is one of the most popular on the Costa del Sol and its style is reminiscent of courses in the Czech Republic, so we recommend playing it.
